Where does JRCI build?
John Roberts Construction, Inc. builds homes in the Peoria area and throughout Central Illinois .
Will you quote a price per square foot?
No. Tract builders can quote a price per square foot because
they build the same or similar home several times,
and offer standard features. Each JRCI Home is unique and custom-designed
for our homeowners. Therefore,
our homeowners are the only
ones with the authority to determine the final price per square
foot of their home,
as they have complete control over the
level of finish desired, as well as the construction budget.
What size homes does JRCI design
and build?
In the past year, John Roberts Construction, Inc. completed homes ranging in
size from
1,700 sq. ft. to over 5,000 sq. ft.
Do I have to sign a contract to start a
design plan?
No. We are happy to design for you at no obligation.
Do I need to pay a deposit to begin the design
process?
No. Your time and genuine interest are all that is required.
What if I don't like the design you prepare
for me, or it's not quite right?
We will revise your plan as many times as needed until you
are completely satisfied and in love with your design.
How long does it take to design a custom
home?
As long as it takes for you to say "WOW!"
Will you design a home if I haven't selected
a lot or building site yet?
No. It is very important to be site-specific when designing
a custom home, to maximize views and other
environmental considerations.
John Roberts Construction, Inc. is prepared to assist you in finding a lot
in a
location you desire.
Does JRCI have available lots?
No. We do not carry a lot inventory. We don't try to steer
our homeowners to a particular area in order to sell lots.
However, we know where lots are available.
Will JRCI build another builder's
house plans?
No. We will create an original design from a concept, but
we will not duplicate plans unless arrangements
are made to
purchase the copyright.
If I decide not to build, do I owe anything
for the design work?
No.
If I'm planning a move to Central Illinois, but
I live out of state, can I still begin the design process?
Yes. We have successfully worked with many out of state homeowners.
After you meet with the builder
and have selected a building
site, we can ship design plans overnight, and conduct design
meetings
via telephone conference.
Should I still begin the design process if
I'm not quite ready to build?
Yes. Individual circumstances vary, and this is a matter to
be discussed with the builder.
Will you work with my Realtor?
Yes. We have developed great relationships with our homeowners
Realtors.
Can I make changes or upgrade materials during
construction?
Yes. We welcome your ideas and input throughout the construction
process, and we remain flexible and
willing to accommodate
changes.
